Welcome to The Citadel Foundation's Gift Planning website
Thank you for your interest in providing for the future of The Citadel and supporting the many students, faculty, and programs at the college. We hope that you will enjoy learning about the beneficial interface between your financial planning and your philanthropy. As you explore our site, you will have the opportunity to meet some of our incredible donors, read about their inspiring journeys, and understand why they have invested in The Citadel.
Some of the benefits of gift planning are: - You will discover ways to make larger gifts than you may have thought possible.
- You will learn how to make gifts that actually "give back" for a time, which may provide extra cash flow in retirement years, help fund educational expenses, or offer other benefits.
- You will see how to save money on income, gift, and estate taxes and instead put those amounts to use in ways you choose.
- You will know you are giving the most you can at the lowest possible cost while you are investing in the lives of young people and The Citadel.
That's what effective gift planning is all about. It just makes sense to make the most of what you have, preserve financial security for yourself and your loved ones, and make a positive impact through your funding of The Citadel's needs. Be sure to sign up for our complimentary weekly e-newsletter. Also, share this website with your own professional advisors as you discuss your retirement, estate, and gift plans with them.
As The Citadel moves forward to meet new challenges and opportunities, your gifts, no matter the size, provide crucial support to the college. Charitable estate and gift planning is an exciting way to fulfill your philanthropic goals and provide that support. Taking the time to consider the various ways to structure your gifts can help you make meaningful contributions while meeting personal planning objectives. Take a few minutes to explore the information we present for you here and feel free to contact us at any time.
